Go for the gold!

We won four gold medals in design for our children’s fashion story “Squish”, from the Society of Publication Designers contest this year! The story appeared in the April/May 2023 issue of Earnshaw’s magazine. Thank you to Mariah Walker, fashion director; Zoe Adlersberg, photographer, and Clelia Bergonzoli who did the hair and makeup.

A Perfect Ken

Check out to the opening spread to our new story for Footwear Plus magazine. We created a whimsical and conceptual “K” with some blonde hair and a little imagination. Photography by Mark Andrew, styling by Mariah Walker, with hair and makeup by Zaiya Latt. Shot on location at Underworld Productions in Patchogue, NY.

Publish or Perish

Check us out in the new book, Type Speaks by Steven Heller and Gail Anderson.

Type is the handwriting of the 21st century, lending its expressive voice to the language of all written communication. Type Speaks is the first book to explore type as a medium that conveys emotions, concepts, and ideas, filled with hundreds of new fonts available through digital foundries. Some exude joy, radiate serenity, or jangle the nerves; some sell or persuade or command or seduce. More than ever before, a great range of type choices, both conventional and unconventional, is available to graphic design professionals and nonprofessionals alike. In this new world, Type Speaks will be an essential reference for anyone crafting messages in words.

You can order it here.

Talking About Our Design Process

In 2018 the Society of Publication Designers asked us to create a video to inspire both students and professional graphic designers. We created a slideshow of our work which plays as we discuss our creative process. Click here or on the image below and then scroll down towards the bottom of the page to view. We hope you enjoy the results!
